So it's been a real long time since I've blogged and pretty much the only reason I am right now is because I don't feel like doing work anymore right now.
It's been a very, very long two weeks. Basically, I have spent the past two days cooped up in my room doing work almost non-stop. I had a break yesterday for two hours to go to an on campus event, but after that it was back to work!
What have I been working on you ask? Wonderful question! The main project I have been working on is my animation project. Yes, animation! What fun! It actually is fun I swear, it just is a shit-ton of work. I was supposed to have art assets due for Friday (clearly I am the best worker ever). I told my group there was no way it would be done and I was hoping to get it done by Saturday. Clearly I needed more time than I thought. I still need a lot of time. I still need to do all the animating work for my real character too. Needless to say this week is going to blow chunks.
I will admit that Friday was fun. I did a lot of work that night, but Randall and I took a break at three to go check out Mason Day. Mason Day is basically a small fair for Mason Students and friends to go enjoy free food and rides. We ran into a bunch of our friends and then came across an obstacle course. It was probably my favourite part of the day. Randall and I raced on it twice before we were too wiped to do it again. I also scrapped up my elbows and I'm not really sure how. It was probably one of the many dives I did through the small tunnels ha ha. The rest of our time spent at the fair was riding rides and walking around trying to find short lines for food.
At around 5 Randall and I left to head back to do work. He went off to see our teacher for some help and I went back to try to finish modeling. I got a really decent amount of work done, considering I had been working almost since I had woken up to the time that I went to sleep. Needless to say my head is spinning and all I really want is a white chocolate mocha to wake me up so I can get more work done. Sad right?
One of the other projects is my final for my drawing class. We have to choose a piece of clothing and draw it with charcoal. The goal is to make dramatic lighting and be able to draw the folds in clothes well. It's a lot of work but it should be fun.
The last project is another game. I have a lot of writing I need to do and I also need to make textures. I can put a lot of it off for now though, as I have other projects that are due sooner. We'll see. this project is what I am currently working on, mostly because it is the only one that I can do while lying comfortably in bed.
I don't think I'm going to stay up much longer. I want to so I can get work done, but I feel I should just sleep and get an early start tomorrow. I guess that is what two straight days of work do to you.
